Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 2025

Welcome to GrowthApp. Your privacy is important to us, and we want to be transparent about how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data.

We know privacy policies can sometimes be long and complicated, so we’ve made an effort to keep this one as clear and straightforward as possible. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at support@growthapp.ai.

  1. Who We Are

GrowthApp is a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) solution designed to help businesses get the most out of their websites. By leveraging real data and advanced analytics, GrowthApp provides tailored, actionable insights for optimizing various aspects of a website. While our AI-powered solution offers valuable guidance for converting visitors into long-term customers and enhancing revenue, results may vary depending on multiple factors.

GrowthApp is incorporated in Delaware, USA, but we operate globally, serving businesses and entrepreneurs worldwide.

  1. The Data We Collect

At GrowthApp, we collect two types of data:

  • Essential Personal Data: This includes your name and email address, which you provide when signing up for GrowthApp, subscribing to our updates, or interacting with our platform.
  • Behavioral Data: This includes information about how you use GrowthApp and interact with our website. We track this through tracking URLs and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and our own in-house GrowthApp tracking system. This data helps us understand user behavior, optimize website performance, and improve the effectiveness of our service.

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as financial details, government-issued IDs, or health data. While users are required to subscribe and make payments to access our services, this does not involve the collection of sensitive financial data like credit card numbers or banking details.

  1. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect for three main purposes:

  1. Service Delivery: Your personal data allows us to create and manage your GrowthApp account, provide personalized recommendations, and optimize the user experience.
  2. Marketing & Communication: With your permission, we may send emails about new features, product updates, or industry insights that could help you improve your website’s performance. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  3. Analytics & Optimization: We analyze behavioral data to understand what’s working, identify issues, and improve GrowthApp’s features.

We will never use your personal data for purposes that are unrelated to these core functions.

  1. Do We Share Your Data?

No. We do not share, sell, or rent your personal data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Your data stays with us and is used strictly to improve GrowthApp and your experience with it.

However, we do use trusted third-party services (such as Google Analytics and AWS) to help with data storage, analytics, and platform functionality. These third-party providers process data on our behalf, but they are bound by strict data protection agreements and cannot use your data for their own purposes.

  1. Your Rights & Choices

We believe in giving you full control over your personal data. Here’s what that means for you:

  • Access & Correction: You can request to see the personal data we hold about you and correct any inaccuracies.
  • Data Deletion: If you ever decide to stop using GrowthApp, you can request that we delete your data, and we’ll comply as long as it doesn’t conflict with legal or regulatory requirements.
  • Opting Out of Marketing: If you don’t want to receive emails or marketing messages, you can easily unsubscribe using the link in any of our emails or by contacting us directly.
  • Cookie Preferences: You can manage your cookie settings through your browser to limit or disable tracking technologies.

To exercise any of these rights, just send us an email at support@growthapp.ai.

  1. AI Chat Disclaimer & Limitation

GrowthApp provides AI-generated recommendations and insights based on its analysis of data and algorithms. While GrowthApp is designed to deliver helpful and accurate suggestions, it is possible that some recommendations may occasionally be incorrect, ineffective, or outdated. We encourage users to carefully evaluate these insights and consult additional resources or experts when necessary.

  1. How We Protect Your Data

We take data security very seriously and have implemented multiple layers of protection, including:

  • Encryption: Any sensitive data is encrypted both in transit (while being sent over the internet) and at rest (when stored in our databases).
  • Access Controls: Our databases are not publicly accessible, and access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
  • Secure Data Storage: We store your data on Google Cloud and AWS servers, both of which have industry-leading security measures in place.
  • Future Security Enhancements: While we do not currently have two-factor authentication (2FA) for password sign-in, we plan to introduce this feature soon to provide additional security.
  1. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

GrowthApp uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics, personalization and performance improvements. The cookies help us:

  • Understand how users interact with our services
  • Identify areas for feature improvement
  • Optimize the user experience

User Control Over Cookies

We are committed to transparency and  user choice. You have the right to enable, disable or customize your cookie preferences at any time through our Cookie Settings banner via our browser.

If you disable tracking cookies, no behavioural data will be collected or stored. Essential cookies (required for basic functionality) may still be used unless otherwise opted out of where legally required.

  1. Data Retention: How Long We Keep Your Data

We store your name and email address for as long as you remain an active user on GrowthApp.

However, we recognize the importance of not holding on to data longer than necessary. That’s why we’re working on a data cleanup policy, which will automatically delete user data after a reasonable period of inactivity. This policy will comply with local and international privacy regulations.

  1. Global Compliance & Legal Obligations

Since we operate worldwide, we comply with major data protection laws, including:

  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU law): If you are in the European Union, you have additional rights, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict how we process your data.
  • California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) (California law): If you are a resident of California, you can request details about how we collect and use your personal data and ask us not to sell your data (which we don’t do anyway).

Here’s how we uphold our global legal obligations:

  • Lawful Basis: We only collect and process your data with a valid legal basis (e.g consent, contractual necessity or legitimate interests)
  • Consent: For non-essential data collection (e.g cookies, marketing), we request your explicit opt-in consent before any data processing begins.
  • Data Subject Rights: EU Users can:
  1. i) Access, correct or delete their data
  2. ii) Withdraw consent at any time

iii) Request restriction or objection to processing

  1. iv) Request data portability (receive a copy of your data)

We are committed to meeting our legal obligations in every country where we operate.

  1. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, new regulations, or improvements to our security measures. If we make significant changes, we’ll notify you via email or through a notice on our website.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your data.
